Tattler: The Skype Un-Deleter

Posted: March 22, 2010 – 9:04 am | Author: | Filed under: Skype, Tools

If you have ever used Skype you have very likely seen someone edit or delete a message. Seeing the following always annoys me greatly:

Often amusing, sensitive or over the top comments see the use of the Skype edit or delete feature. It would be funny if there were a way to recover those messages. Now there is, meet Tattler:

Tattler runs in the background, and any time a user edits or deletes a message Tattler keeps track of the it. Tattler also provides a raw command shell, which allows you to monitor and send raw Skype API commands. The current release of Tattler is for Windows, and can be downloaded from our Source Forge project hosting page. For more information on Tattler visit the Tattler home page.
