We are looking for a talented Rails developer to help advance an innovative RoR web site (www.phishme.com) with paying customers.
Responsibilities
- Optimization of our current web application
- Enhancing logging and monitoring functionality
- Assisting in customer support
- Developing features for future releases
- Basic Server Administration
Requirements
- 5 years of development experience, at least 1 year of Rails experience
- Should have dug through Rails source code before and knows how to optimize application performance
- Should be comfortable with complex SQL statements, stored procedures, and have experience with encrypted database storage
- A healthy curiosity in security is a must (understanding cross-site scripting, directory traversal attacks, proper input validation, etc)
- Should be familiar with popular Ruby gems such as ar_mailer, mongrel_cluster, and optimizing apache load balancing
- Background in Linux system administration is a plus

- Research cutting edge security issues, write articles and whitepapers, and speak at industry conferences and forums
- Mentor consultants in the requisite technical and soft skills
- Build new and existing client relationships
- Teach Intrepidus Group’s training courses
Requirements
- Minimum five years of relevant security experience
- Experience performing network and application penetration tests, source code reviews and wireless assessments
- Must know how to determine the IP address of your own machine
- Four year degree
- Masters degree preferred (but not required)
- CISSP certification
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
